The idea

The Silk Road by Bike is not only a biking journey, but also a charity event. We want to help an NGO (Eurasia Foundation) to implement projects in Tajikistan.
We strongly believe in the economical empowerment of young entrepreneurs. We want to raise founds to help the new generation that have the will to develop their own country but have neither the knowledge nor the funds.

We have aimed eurasia foundation because they inject the money into sustainable development. Both of us are young workers and beleive that the best way to help country in development is to create new business. The investment

For now EFCA already implemented 6 projects in Tadjikistan, thanks to dutch grants. One project cost about 50 000 NOK (about 8600$).

Depending on the amount of money we can gather, EFCA will be able to select new projects proposed by local NGO and distribute the money according to the needs.
Once we have enough funds (at least 50 000 NOK) to cover the financial needs a project, we will, together with EFCA, choose a project from a selected list that they suggest to support.

The investors will have the possibility to follow the evolution of the project within the next year.

What are we going to do

First of all we are going to bike 16000 km through the silk road make a story out of it. On our way we are going to stop on the place where the project is going to be, meet the people we are biking for and help out with our knowledge.

We want to give to the investors the best reports on where their fundings are going. And finally, when we will be back, we will give a full report to each investor who has been participating.
